All category winners and finalists will receive national promotion through the Emerging Writer Magazine and companion website. 1) Each category will have a first place winner. In addition, the top five selectees in each category will be named Finalists. First place winners will move forward to the next round of judging, for consideration for the Grand Prize. In addition the winners and finalists will receive certificates honoring their accomplishment. 2) All winners and finalists will receive national recognition and promotion on the web sites of Emerging Writer Awards, Emerging Writer Magazine and Triom Publishing. 3) Two Grand Prize winners will then be selected; One from the Manuscript competitions and one from the Short Subject competition. 4) The Grand Prize winner in the Unpublished Manuscript competition will receive $2,000 and may be offered the opportunity to have their book published by Triom Publishing. 5) The Grand Prize winner in the Short Subject competition will receive $1,000.
